BGH Training provides up-to-date and comprehensive information and first class training in the construction industry. The entire team is committed to providing and excellent training and information service. In addition to this we also strive to provide all our learners with confidential advice and guidance.
We want our learners to feel that they can come to us with any problem, whether it’s related to work, training or whether it’s personal. There is no point trying to teach someone if their mind is elsewhere. Anything discusses with us is done so in the strictest of confidence.
We are continually working in partnership with key employers and partners such as the construction skills Consortium and various further education colleges to deliver high quality training programmes.
We have proven track records in delivering training which is second to none and of the highest standards with skills being nationally recognised with N.V.Q City & Guilds and key skills qualifications.
BGH’s high standard of training has already resulted in firm support as a favoured supplier for future contracts. This is down to good working relationships with key personnel, and has resulted in BGH Training being the preferred training provider for numerous companies within the glass and construction industries.
BGH is also involved in the delivery of the on-site assessment and training provision (OSAT) for the Construction Skills Consortium Delivering NVQ’s across the UK, and in colleges such as the Isle of Man college, Gloucester College, Western Super Mare College and City of Bristol College. References are available on request.
BGH Training specialises in the delivery of a fast-track system that can vastly reduce the time scale of the NVQ that is aimed at the experienced worker.
For the Community…….
- BGH SOCIAL EVENTS
All learners can now enjoy regular social events every Thursday afternoon including 5 a side football supported by the BGH Staff.
- BGH TRAINING & CONSULTANCY - OPEN DAY FOR SCHOOLS
BGH has recently opened it’s doors to local schools. We realise that the young people of today have many choices available to them when they reach 16, so we use our experience of working with 16 – 19 year olds to hold open days – providing our visitors with an insight into starting a career in the construction industry.
- PROUDLY SPONSORING RED STRIPE JUNIOR F.C
We think it is important to keep local children interested in sports. Continuing with our BGH in the community programme we also provide financial support to a local junior football team.
- SOCIAL HOUSING DEVELOPMENTS
We get our apprentices involved in local social housing developments as a joint benefit programme. Our students benefit from the experience of working on real developments, but they also gain an understanding of what their trade can give back to the community.
